The End of Windows XP
First released more than twelve years ago Windows XP has proven to be one of the most popular operating systems. However it is old and reached End of Life (EOL) on April 8, 2014. This means Microsoft will no longer release any end-user updates or security patches.
Once Windows XP is no longer supported the best way to protect yourself is to migrate to a new operating system that is actively supported by its vendor, and ensure it is always current.
